Café Racer Bundle
American Cafe
American Cafe is a look into Cafe Racer motorcycle culture in the United States. Transplanted from Europe, the term "Cafe Racer" describes both a type of motorcycle as well as the personality of those who ride them. American Cafe tells the story of this culture in America by following two motorcyclists attempting to build Cafe Racers to ride in the Slimey Crud Motorcycle Gang Cafe Racer Run; one of the most well known, yet least understood, cafe racer events in the country.
"I had the chance to view an early cut of American Cafe and I feel like I know a secret about one of the Midwest's best motorcycle gatherings." - Asphalt and Rubber Mag
"The documentary is an insight in to the Cafe Racer culture existing today in the United States and follows two eager motorcyclists as they attempt to build their own Cafe Racers to ride in the Slimey Crud Motorcycle Gang Cafe Racer Run. Jason transforms a 1974 Honda CL350 which was un-ridden for 10 years while Matt works on his 1982 Honda CB650SC half cruiser, who's parts are incompatible with almost every other Honda CB. Footage of the guys building their bikes is mixed with shots from the ride itself from walks through the car parks filled with Cafe Racers to footage out on the streets." - Return of the Cafe Racers Blog
